Our story emerged in the wake of our opposition to City Council’s reckless initiative to erase the name Dundas from our city. This ill-conceived move was not only a costly distraction from more pressing priorities but underscored a troubling truth: our municipal leaders prioritize ideological agendas over delivering responsible governance and essential services to Torontonians. It was a glaring display of imprudence and disregard for the city’s real needs.

Despite our 35,000-person petition, City Council inexplicably went ahead with the renaming initiative. This confirmed to residents across the city that our local government is neither safeguarding our best interests nor acting as responsible stewards of our tax dollars. Instead, they continue to prioritize ideology over common sense.

This blatant disregard for the public and our financial resources galvanized many to take a stand against such failed leadership. Toronto deserves better, and with that IntegrityTO was born.

Our mission is to deliver integrity-driven, accountable, and effective governance for Toronto by moving beyond divisive ideological agendas. We are committed to civic and political advocacy, direct action, and grassroots engagement to restore common-sense leadership that empowers our city to heal, thrive, and reach its fullest potential.

Our vision is for a dynamic, thriving Toronto—a city where opportunity is earned through merit and hard work, where the vulnerable are uplifted, and where leadership is guided by humility and integrity. A place where democracy thrives, citizens are valued, and pride in our city reigns. We strive to replace the familiar complaint, “Toronto is going downhill,” with a heartfelt declaration: “I love this city!”

IntegrityTO is established as a non-partisan civic advocacy group intent on promoting transparent, responsible, and effective municipal governance in Toronto. Our goals include:

  1. Advocating for prudent management of public resources
  2. Opposing wasteful spending and ideological policy initiatives that undermine community needs
  3. Encouraging civic engagement and providing a platform for citizens to influence city decisions
  4. Holding municipal leaders accountable through multimedia awareness campaigns, public forums, and political action
  5. Committing to core principles such as honesty, integrity and doing the right thing
